Thomas & Jeremiah (circa 1941)
2 oz white rum (I used Barcardi)
¼ oz lime juice
~1 tsp brown sugar (to taste)
8 oz (1 c) hot apple cider
Put all ingredients except cider in heat safe cup. Fill with hot apple cider. Stir to dissolve sugar.
This drink is great for a cold, wintery night. It doesn’t taste boozy. Feel free to adjust rum & sugar to taste. This is great garnished with a cinnamon stick. Next time I’d like to garnish with some freshly grated nutmeg.
