Low Oxalate Diet

My nephrologist discovered oxalate crystals in my urine, suggesting I may develop kidney stones. Due to my nutcracker syndrome, it would be difficult for a kidney stone to pass thru my squeezed renal vein. Therefore, he suggested I begin a low oxalate diet.

I'm adding this page as a reference for myself on foods to eat, avoid, and limit while I'm on a low oxalate diet. I based the list off this guide my doctor gave me and this similar guide I found online. I am no medical expert, and I have found various lists that contradict each other. I'm basing my diet on the literature my doctor gave me.  People can read this disclaimer and decide for themselves on how to interpret this information.
